About Me...
I am a counsellor because I have made mistakes and know very well how it feels to be judged by others, and to live to the expectations of others. I have experienced grief, loss, trauma and regret. I believe that these experiences, alongside years of training enable me to be able to help you, and show you empathy and understanding without judgement.
I have worked hard to study and train though, and have a first class BA (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am fully insured, have a portable enhanced DBS and am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. I work closely to their ethical framework. I have counselled a diverse range of clients, many with complex issues, and have also been a lecturer in counselling.
